Staff positions

New Ventures has a part-time position open for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator.  Working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8 am to 5 pm, the essential duties of the job are:

Accounts Payable:

  • Review bills/invoices and key to QuickBooks to generate payables report for President’s review.
  • Ensure correct general ledger account is assigned to bills/invoices.
  • Print checks for bill payment, obtain President’s signature, and prepare for mailing.
  • Submit payments electronically.
  • Produce reports.

 

Payroll Administrator:

  • Utilize UKG Ready to review timesheets for clock ins and outs.
  • Ensure timesheets are in an approved and submitted status prior to processing.
  • Process and submit payroll.
  • Download reports, create 401K remittance, and submit electronically.
  • Produce payroll reports.

 

Also requires assisting other departments on an as needed basis

Requirements:

  • Completion of some high school or college.
  • One year of work experience in payables or payroll preferred.
  • Strong math skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently with a willingness and ability to seek out answers on your own.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
