Janitorial Employee with hours of 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday

Must be willing to work other days and times including random weekends.                 

Perform normal janitorial duties which includes the following:

  • Ensure floors are clean by mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Clean faucets and base of toilets, doors, window ledges, window and door glass.
  • Stock areas with paper products and breakrooms with condiments.
  • Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, etc.
  • May include inside and outside work.
  • Empty ash pots.
  • Empty trash containers and deliver to on-site dumpsters.
  • Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations.
  • Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Submit to and pass a GCIC background check and a level 12 drug screen
  • Reliable transportation
  • Lifting to 40 lbs.

POSITION:  Shipping Coordinator

HOURS:       8:00 am to 4:30 pm

                     Must be willing & able to work other days, times, & jobs.

 

Duties:

The Shipping Coordinator is part of a three-person team that receives inventory and fulfills orders for items sold under the State of GA set-aside list.  These are items that the State has determined must be purchased from a specific company such as New Ventures such as first aid kits and GOJO soap dispensers & refills. The successful hire should be able to give work instructions to others when the manager is not available.

This position works under the Georgia Enterprises Program that provides employment to disabled persons.  To be considered for the position, you must provide a signed statement from a certified medical doctor authorized to practice medicine within the state of Georgia; the statement must confirm that you meet the legal definition of disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

 

 

Perform the following duties to meet the customer’s requirements:

  • Receive orders via a computer web site & print, review, and check inventory for availability to fill.
  • Pull inventory for an order, stage, pack, shrink wrap or box it; print shipping paperwork & labels, & attach to the shipment.
  • Key order information into QuickBooks software using pre-set fields in the software.
  • Assist with maintaining adequate inventory and with inventory counts.
  • Provide daily work instructions to others.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with internet shipping is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable with typing information using a computer keyboard.
  • Basic math skills to count.
  • Ability and willingness to stand 50% of the shift.
  • Ability to pick-up, move, and transport inventory using a pallet jack, forklift, etc.
  • Submit to and pass a GCIC background check and a level 12 drug screen
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Lifting 40 lbs. on occasion.
